Insecticidal oils
Insecticide Oils are paraffinic white oils whose properties are to have a physical mode of action and have no toxicological classification. They are listed in Annex I of Directive 91/414/EEC and are quality European Pharmacopoeia 6.0.
They are used in organic farming (European Order, Regulation EC 889/2008 of 5 September 2008).
CCL invests in Annex III to support its products in Europe.
A growing interest
It is now integrated in all plant protection products with the least risk and environmental health. Through the quality (composition, mode of action, selectivity, resistance, biodegradability) insecticide oils meet the expectations of civil society..
- ARBORICULTURE : Oviphyt reduces the number of intervention in the season because it is used in the treatment of winter fruit trees to reduce overwintering populations in winter outing and thus delaying the entry of pests. It respects the auxiliary insects. Combined with an insecticide, Oviphyt enhances efficiency. Oviphyt is included in the recommendations of the chains (Organic farming, BIP ...).
- CITRUS FRUITS: Oviphyt gives a solution that respects the environment in the fight against the mealy bug, the main pest of citrus. It is used in France, overseas territories, North Africa and soon in all countries of the European community.
- SPECIALIZED CROPS: Vazyl Y solves many problems of viruses. In the production of seed potato acts against aphid vectors of viruses A and Y. Only this current controlled (Comité Nord).
- GARDEN: Our white oils also help to fight against the pests of ornamental plants. They are distributed by leading professionals in the gardening and landscaping, being the main means of combating insecticide offered to home gardeners.
